Megan Nelson Hired as Senior Accountant
Flynn, Walker, Diggin, CPA has hired certified public accountant Megan Nelson of Queensbury as a Senior Accountant. Her accounting background includes more than a decade of wide ranging of assignments with individuals, corporations, and not-for-profit entities, including tax return preparation, financial statements, bookkeeping, sales tax, and payroll. She completed her studies in business and accounting at SUNY Plattsburgh.

Ida Cheung Earns CPA Designation
Staff Accountant Ida Cheung, a resident of Malta, recently passed the C.P.A. exam and is now fully licensed in the State of New York as a Certified Public Accountant. Cheung received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University at Albany in 2008. She has worked at Flynn, Walker, Diggin since 2009.

Susan Hedge Promoted to Senior Accountant
In her new position as Senior Accountant, Susan Hedge focuses on
accounting, auditing, and taxation issues for the firm's business,
not-for-profit, and individual clients. She has worked for Flynn,
Walker, Diggin C.P.A. since 2006 and has seven years of experience. A
native of Saratoga Springs, where she currently resides with her family,
she received her accounting degree from Siena College.

System Review
As part of its ongoing commitment to assuring professional practices of
the highest quality, Flynn, Walker, Diggin C.P.A., P.C., recently
completed a rigorous review of the firm's quality control system using
an outside expert. Since the firm's formation in 1992, its partners have
made this type of systemic review a priority, to ensure the firm's
compliance with the professional standards set by the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants. By 2012, due to changes in the
licensing and registration requirements set forth by the New York State
Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), this type of system
review will become a mandated activity for all CPA firms with more than
two professionals.
