Flynn, Walker, Diggin Quality Practices Confirmed through Independent
System Review
As part of its ongoing commitment to assuring professional practices of
the highest quality, Flynn, Walker, Diggin C.P.A., P.C., recently
completed a rigorous review of the firm's quality control system using
an outside expert. Since the firm's formation in 1992, its partners have
made this type of systemic review a priority, to ensure the firm's
compliance with the professional standards set by the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants. By 2012, due to changes in the
licensing and registration requirements set forth by the New York State
Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), this type of system
review will become a mandated activity for all CPA firms with more than
two professionals.

Ouimet Promoted to Manager
Lauren Ouimet, who joined Flynn, Walker, Diggin C.P.A., P.C. in summer
2007, has been promoted to Manager. She received her accounting degree
from Hofstra University.

Martindale Passes CPA Exam
Serena Martindale, a Senior Staff Accountant and four-year employee of
the firm, recently passed the C.P.A. licensing exam. Serena graduated
from Siena College, where she majored in accounting. She joined Flynn,
Walker, Diggin C.P.A., P.C. in 2005.

Cheung and Coons Hired as Staff Accountants
WaiFong (Ida) Cheung and Aleisha M. Coons have recently been hired by
Flynn, Walker, Diggin C.P.A., P.C. as Staff Accountants. They will work
with the firm's individual and business clients on a variety of
assignments. Ida received her B.S. in Accounting from University at
Albany in 2008. Aleisha received her Bachelor of Science in Applied
Mathematics from the University of Vermont in 2007, and a Master of
Science in Accounting from University at Albany in 2009.
